2022 Subaru Crosstrek Trim Levels

Despite being one of the smallest crossover SUVs on the market, the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek is still reliable on long hauls and everyday commutes

The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek comes in five trim levels: Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Hybrid. All models come with automatic transmission or CVT, but the Base and Premium trims have a 6-speed manual option. All Crosstreks have a standard all-wheel drive.

There is a choice between two engines for the Crosstrek:

  • Base and Premium trims have a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine which provides 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque.
  • Sport and Limited trims have a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine which provides 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque.

Come, test, and buy the new 2022 Subaru Crosstrek in Edmonton, AB.

Crosstrek Base

The Base trim comes with automatic climate control, a height-adjustable driver's seat, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, 6.5-inch touchscreen, 8.7 inches of ground clearance, a four-speaker audio system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, roof rails, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

When you add CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), you'll get: Hill descent control, Subaru's X-Mode (off-road drive setting), Subaru's driver's aid system (Eyesight), including:

  • Adaptive-Cruise control (maintains good distance with the car in front).
  • Lane Keeping System (corrects steering to keep the car inside the lane).
  • Forward collision mitigation which warns you of a possible upcoming collision and automatically applies brakes when necessary.

The Crosstrek Base is priced at $22,645.

Crosstrek Premium

In addition to what the Base trim offers, with the Premium, you also get heated front seats, heated side mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, fog lights, a six-speaker stereo, and a satellite radio. The Base trim also includes a rear cargo cover, an extra USB port, and Subaru Starlink safety and security.

The Crosstrek Premium also has the same CVT features as the Crosstrek Base but with keyless entry and ignition, a power-adjustable driver's seat, sunroof, blind-spot monitor, and rear-cross traffic, which warns you if a car is behind you when you want to go in reverse. The CrossTrek Premium is priced at $23,795.

Crosstrek Sport

Starting at $26,995, the Crosstrek Sport has the same features as the Premium. Still, you'll also get the powerful 182-hp, 2.5-litre Subaru Boxer engine, special fender flares, keyless-entry and push-button start, dual-function X-Mode with hill descent control, yellow stitching on interior, and simulated upholstery which is water repellent (Subaru's Startex).

Crosstrek Limited

The Limited trim offers the same exciting features as the Sport trim except for the design of the fender flares and seat upholstery. In addition, you have leather-trimmed upholstery, 18-inch dark gray alloy wheels, rear-automatic braking, LED fog lights, and Subaru Starlink 8.0-inch Multimedia Plus. The Crosstrek is priced at $28,495.

You also have 18-inch black tires with machine-finish alloy wheels and the Subaru's StarDrive plug-in Hybrid drivetrain. The Crosstrek Hybrid is priced at $35,845.
