Posted on June 8, 2023
The 2024 Subaru Outback is here and more impressive and capable than ever. The Outback has always been a stalwart for adventure-loving Canadians, and the latest model is no exception. Subaru has taken the Outback's trademark capability and versatility and kicked it up a notch.
More Uncommon Capability for Next-Level Adventures
Subaru has equipped the 2024 Outback with features that make it even more ready for your adventures. The standard Subaru Symmetrical Full-Time AWD is built to handle the most challenging of terrains. Pair that with a bold exterior design, and you've got a car that's as fearless as you are.
The interior of the 2024 Outback takes comfort and refinement to new heights. Whether it's the ample space for all your passengers or the versatility to carry your adventurous gear, this car is ready. In addition, the standard roof crossbar rails make it easy to bring your bulkier items along, enhancing the car's readiness for adventure.
Enhanced Safety for Peace of Mind
Subaru, staying true to its commitment to safety, has significantly upgraded its standard Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist system for the 2024 Outback. The EyeSight® system has already been lauded in automotive safety for its innovative approach to keeping drivers and passengers secure on the road. Now, Subaru has taken it one step further.
With its enhanced detection capabilities, EyeSight® can provide a more comprehensive safety net around the vehicle. The system has new cameras that offer improved detection of the vehicle's left and right sides. These cameras provide better overall visibility and play a crucial role in preventing side collisions and detecting potential obstacles.
But the updates don't stop there. Subaru has also included Emergency Automatic Steering in the EyeSight® system. This feature further ensures safety by automatically taking control of the steering to avoid potential collisions when necessary. This means the Outback can proactively respond to a dangerous situation even before the driver has time to react, providing an extra layer of security.
Connectivity and Convenience
In the 2024 Outback, Subaru prioritizes seamless connectivity, ensuring your adventures are always connected and technologically updated. Now featuring wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, available on select trims, the Outback lets you integrate your smartphone directly into the vehicle's system.
This allows for easy access to navigation, music, and phone calls without the hassle of cords and without compromising your focus on the road. This way, even when you're off exploring the wilds, you can stay in touch and keep your favourite tunes and apps at your fingertips.
Recognizing the modern need to stay powered up on the go, Subaru has also installed front and standard rear USB-C ports in the new Outback. These ports, featuring the newer USB-C standard, provide quicker and more efficient charging for your devices, ensuring that your smartphones, tablets, or other USB-C devices never run out of power during your journeys. Whether for capturing those breathtaking views or keeping the kids entertained on long drives, you can count on the 2024 Outback to keep your devices powered and ready.
