The Solterra may be an all-electric Subaru, but it remains a Subaru to the core. Case in point: The legendary Subaru Symmetrical Full-Time AWD system which, here, sees one electric motor driving the front wheels and another powering the rear wheels. This configuration gives the Solterra superior capability, handling, traction and control in the trickiest of driving conditions. Also standard is the X MODE® system with Hill Ascent and Descent Assist, which helps maintain the proper traction level to the terrain conditions for more stability and control, generating increased confidence. For even more versatility, the Solterra features 210 mm of ground clearance and short overhangs to help clear minor obstacles.

The cabin features a modern, logically organized layout with soft-touch materials throughout with available StarTex® upholstery for added convenience and comfort. The Solterra comes standard with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto ™ integration, while the available high-resolution 12.3-inch touchscreen brings even more intuitive control. The Solterra can be plugged into any standard 120V outlet for Level 1 charging, while an available Level 2 charger can be installed at your home or office for faster recharging. This innovative SUV can also be plugged into a Level 3 DC fast charging station, which delivers up to 80% charge in less than an hour. Of course, all of these features allow you to enjoy the uncommon Subaru driving experience while producing zero tailpipe emissions.
